Butterflies recorded from Berks County,
Pennsylvania, but not seen since 2002
   Updated: 11 February 2024

Two sources for this data:

1. The (earlier) 107 butterflies recorded from Berks County comes from: The "Butterflies and Moths of North America" web site:    (https://www.butterfliesandmoths.org) This number is unchanged.

2. "Butterflies of Pennsylvania - A Guide" by Monroe and Wright, published in 2017, adds two more species to this list. One seen in 2003 to the present and one before 2003.

Together those two references bring the number of butterflies seen in Berks County to 109
